Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and clinically strong Dental Hygienist to join our fast-paced dental practice. Dentix24 is a patient-focused clinic providing both general and emergency dental care, including evenings and weekends.
The ideal candidate is confident managing a full schedule, comfortable working in a high-demand environment, and committed to delivering efficient, high-quality care while building strong patient relationships.
Responsibilities
- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing
- Assess oral health conditions and accurately document clinical findings
- Take dental radiographs in compliance with safety protocols
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and long-term preventive care
- Manage and maintain a full hygiene schedule independently
- Identify treatment needs and support case acceptance through patient communication
- Provide care for patients with moderate to advanced periodontal conditions
- Handle emergency hygiene-related cases when required
- Maintain accurate records using ABELDENT software
- Follow strict infection control and sterilization protocols
- Work collaboratively with dentists and team members to ensure smooth patient flow
Requirements
- Registered Dental Hygienist in good standing (Ontario)
- Strong clinical skills in scaling and periodontal therapy
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable with evening and/or weekend shifts
- Experience with ABELDENT (or similar systems) preferred
- Strong communication and patient management skills
- Bilingual is an asset
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $50.00-$60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 44 per week
