Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the clinical team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Experience with dental software such as Epic and Dentrix, as well as familiarity with orthodontics and pediatrics, will be highly valued. Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including orthodontic treatments and pediatric dentistry
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available
- Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when required
- Manage patient records efficiently using dental software such as Epic and Dentrix
- Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort throughout visits
- Support administrative tasks including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow as a dental receptionist when needed
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and medical terminology standards
- Educate patients on oral health practices and post-treatment care instructions
Qualifications
- Proven experience in dental assisting, with knowledge of dental terminology and clinical procedures
- Familiarity with dental software platforms such as Epic and Dentrix
- Experience with orthodontics, pediatrics, or CAD imaging is preferred
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Certification or training in dental assisting is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care

Pay: $29.00-$37.00 per hour
