```Job Summary```
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. The Dental Assistant will work closely with the dentist and dental team to provide exceptional patient care. Work hours Monday -Thursday 7:45 -4-45, Friday 7:45 -12:00 Evening and weekend hours only when on call. Work with a full time floater and another chair side assistant . Level 2 certification a plus , Level 1 is a minimum
```Duties```
- Primarily Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform dental receptionist duties as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records using Abel
- Assist with scheduling and confirming appointments
- Order and maintain dental supplies and equipment
```Qualifications```
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
- Current certification in dental assisting preferred
- Experience working as a dental receptionist is a plus
