Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our growing dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during each visit. We believe in high quality care, open communication and creating a positive environment for both our patients and staff. This position is currently a part time position but it comes with the potential to grow as our patient base continues to expand with the new community of Harmony.
Duties:
- Perform thorough dental hygiene care including scaling, polishing and fluoride application
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, the importance of regular dental visits and the connection between oral and overall health.
- Take digital radiographs as needed.
- Charting and maintaining accurate clinical records.
- Supporting the dentist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Assist with sterilization.
- Collaborate with the front desk to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
What We're Looking For:
- Current RDH license in good standing.
- Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Familiarity with OpenDental software is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills are essential for effective communication with patients.
- Willingness to grow with the practice.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Strong team player with a readiness to support all areas of the clinic as needed.
- Passion for patient preventative care and education.
- Ability to build strong rapports with patients of all ages.
Hours:
Part time hours with potential to grow into full time. We are also open to a 2 day schedule, hours are open for discussion.
Monday's 8:00am - 4:00pm with an hour unpaid lunch
Tuesday's 8:00am - 4:00pm with an hour unpaid lunch
Wednesday's 11:00pm - 7:00pm with an hour unpaid lunch (we will be transitioning to 10:00am-6:00pm come fall)

Pay: $54.00-$62.00 per hour
