We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while maintaining a clean and safe environment. Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Assist in the management of patient records using Open Dental software.
- Maintain a sterile and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that patients feel welcomed and valued during their visits.
- Work with pediatric patients to ensure they receive gentle and effective care.
- Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technology.
Requirements
- Valid Dental Hygienist license in the province of practice.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply for better patient communication, Chinese speaking is an asset.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
