We are currently seeking General Dentists / Associate Dentists to join our team at our Vaughan and Scarborough/Markham locations. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated dentists looking to grow their clinical practice in a supportive and well-established environment.
Position Overview
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality dental care to patients of all ages while working collaboratively with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff. The role involves diagnosing and treating a broad range of oral health conditions, developing individualized treatment plans, and maintaining the highest standards of infection prevention, patient safety, and professional ethics.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose oral health conditions.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients.
- Provide a wide range of general dentistry procedures, including:
- Restorative dentistry (fillings, crowns, bridges)
- Root canal therapy
- Extractions
- Preventive and diagnostic care
- Educate patients about oral hygiene, treatment options, and preventative care.
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental practice management software.
- Work collaboratively with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff.
- Follow all infection prevention and control standards and professional guidelines.
Qualifications & Requirements
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental program.
- Active license and registration in good standing with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO).
- Eligibility to practice dentistry in Ontario.
- Professional liability insurance coverage (or eligibility to obtain coverage).
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills in general dentistry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and ethical practice.
- Experience with digital dental technologies and practice management systems is considered an asset.
