Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Treatment Coordinator to join our successful dental practice, Clear View Dental in Trenton. The ideal candidate will serve as a vital link between patients and the clinical team, ensuring smooth communication, appointment scheduling, and treatment plan presentation. This role requires excellent administrative skills, familiarity with dental and medical terminology, and proficiency with electronic health records systems. The Treatment Coordinator will play a key role in enhancing patient experience and supporting practice growth.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and manage front desk operations efficiently
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- Present treatment plans clearly and answer patient questions regarding procedures and financial options
- Coordinate with dental providers to ensure timely delivery of care
- Manage multi-line phone systems to handle patient inquiries and appointment rescheduling
- Maintain accurate records within electronic medical records systems such as Paradigm
- Assist with insurance verifications and pre-authorizations as needed
- Support administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and correspondence
- Ensure the office environment remains professional, welcoming, and organized
Requirements
- Prior experience as a dental treatment coordinator/receptionist or in a dental office setting required
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and medical terminology beneficial
- Experience with Paradigm software is preferred
- Proven office experience with proficiency in multi-line phone systems and front desk operations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly demeanor
