We are currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Level II Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our growing dental team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both clinical assisting and patient interaction and is looking for an opportunity to grow within a supportive practice environment.
Schedule
This position is currently starting with:
- Thursdays: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Fridays: Every other Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (with potential for additional Fridays)
- Saturdays: Every other Saturday, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (with potential for additional Saturdays)
There is strong potential for additional hours and days as the role grows.

Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting the dentist during procedures
- Greeting and checking in patients
- Scheduling and confirming appointments
- Maintaining patient records and accounts
- Submitting insurance claims and updating insurance information
- Assisting patients with intake and medical forms
- Explaining treatment plans and associated fees
- Taking payments and handling basic billing tasks
- Managing recalls and follow-up appointments
Qualifications:
- Certified Level II Dental Assistant in Canada
- Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience (required)
- Dental reception experience (preferred)
- Experience with ABELDent software is considered an asset
- Willingness to cross-train on reception duties
- Ability to travel between offices when required
- Team player willing to help cover shifts when needed
