our family owned practice is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support our team in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring smooth clinic operations, and maintaining a welcoming environment. This role offers an opportunity to work with advanced dental technology and collaborate with experienced professionals in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting. Prior experience with Abeldent dental software , as well as familiarity with orthodontics assisting will be highly valued.
Duties
- Assist dentists during various procedures, including orthodontic treatments and pediatric dentistry
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available
- Take dental radiographs and digital scans when required
- Manage patient records accurately using dental software
- Provide pre- and post-operative instructions to patients
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols
- Educate patients on oral health care practices and treatment plans
- Ensure the comfort of patients throughout their visit
Requirements
- Certification or training in dental assisting is required
- Ortho assisting is an asset not a requirement
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of dental terminology relevant to dentistry
