Overview
This position is to start in September 2026 to cover for a 1 year maternity leave. Possibility of becoming a permanent position. We are seeking a dedicated and professional Registered Dental Hygienist to join our awesome team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform thorough dental cleanings, and support overall practice operations. This role offers an opportunity to work in a friendly environment that values patient education, clinical excellence, and team collaboration. Our office uses Power Practice PMS. Bilingual skills are a plus to effectively serve our diverse patient community. The position requires strong customer service skills, knowledge of medical terminology, and a background in dental assisting or dental office experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and treatment plans
- Take radiographs as needed
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records using Power Practice
- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed
- Support patient comfort and address their concerns professionally
- Manage appointment scheduling
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
- Stay updated on the latest dental practices and technologies
Experience
- New Grads welcome to apply
- Familiarity Power Practice management software
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, or general dentistry is advantageous
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patients
Pay: $57.00-$60.00 per hour
