Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the clinical team by providing exceptional patient care and ensuring smooth office operations. Experience with dental software Dentrix. Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with safety protocols
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, including periodontics and endodontics
- Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when necessary
- Manage patient records using dental software Dentrix
- Provide pre- and post-operative instructions to patients
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for patients
- Ensure compliance with infection control procedures
Skills
- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and knowledge of dental procedures
- Experience with dental software Dentrix
- Familiarity with orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry practices
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages, including children
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
- Knowledge of CAD systems used in digital imaging or restorative procedures is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of patient care
