Registered Dental Hygienist (Temporary with Potential for Long-Term Opportunity)
Location: Calgary, AB
Schedule: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Start Date: July 2026
We are seeking a friendly, patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist to join our well-established dental practice on a temporary basis to cover a team member’s sabbatical during July and August. For the right candidate, this position may evolve into a longer-term opportunity.
Our practice is known for providing exceptional patient care in a supportive, team-oriented environment. We value relationship-based dentistry and believe that quality care should never feel rushed. To support this philosophy, we schedule 80-minute recall appointments, allowing our hygienists the time they need to provide thorough, comprehensive care while building meaningful relationships with their patients.

Responsibilities
● Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care and periodontal therapy
● Educate patients on oral health and preventative care
● Take digital radiographs as required
● Maintain accurate and thorough clinical records using Cleardent software
● Collaborate with dentists and team members to deliver outstanding patient care
● Follow infection prevention and control protocols
Qualifications
● Registered Dental Hygienist in good standing with the College of Registered Dental Hygienists of Alberta (CRDHA)
● Current CPR certification
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills
● Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
● Commitment to providing exceptional patient care
