Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care, possess excellent clinical skills, and have a strong commitment to promoting oral health. Duties
- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies
- Assist with patient examinations and record keeping using Dentrix or similar dental software
- Provide support during procedures such as orthodontics or pediatrics, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to develop personalized treatment plans
- Maintain sterilization protocols and ensure a clean, organized treatment area
- Communicate effectively with patients, including bilingual communication when applicable, to enhance their understanding of oral health needs
- Document patient interactions accurately using medical terminology and dental office systems
Requirements
- Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in Canada
- Strong customer service skills with a compassionate approach to patient care
- Ability to work well within a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and patients alike
- Experience in dental assisting is a benefir but not required

Pay: From $61.00 per hour
