Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. Duties
- Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing procedures to maintain optimal oral health for patients.
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Provide thorough patient education on oral hygiene practices and treatment plans.
- Assist with patient assessments, including medical history updates and vital signs.
- Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure smooth clinic operations.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using dental software such as Dentrix.
- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to uphold a safe clinical environment.
- Support pediatric patients with gentle care and effective communication tailored to their needs.
- Handle customer service inquiries professionally, addressing patient concerns with empathy and clarity.
Requirements
- Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in the state of practice.
- Experience working with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures is a plus.
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively.
- Prior experience in dental assisting or a similar role is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental care.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
