Experienced Registered Dental Hygienist (Part-Time) – Uptown Park Dental
Location: New Westminster, BC
Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Compensation: $62–$65 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
Uptown Park Dental is looking for an experienced, confident, and patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team part-time.
We're seeking someone who takes pride in delivering excellent clinical care, builds meaningful relationships with patients, and understands that dental hygiene goes beyond scaling and polishing.
Our ideal candidate is proactive, professional, comfortable with modern dental technology, and takes ownership of the complete patient experience.
What We're Looking For
- Registered Dental Hygienist in good standing in British Columbia
- Experienced clinician with strong clinical skills, sound judgment, and excellent time management
- Confident and experienced with iTero scanning, incorporating a minimum of two scans per day into routine patient care, as clinically appropriate
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly explain clinical findings, oral health concerns, and recommended treatment
- Proactive in educating patients about preventive care and the importance of completing recommended treatment
- Takes initiative in supporting patient continuity of care, including helping patients schedule their next hygiene appointments and coordinating treatment follow-ups with the administrative team
- Comfortable collaborating with dentists and team members to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Professional, reliable, accountable, and able to work independently without constant supervision
- Open to feedback, continuous improvement, and evolving clinical standards
Additional Assets
- Experience with Tracker practice management software
- Strong digital workflow skills and experience using iTero scans for patient education and treatment discussions
