Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients while ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with the dental team.

Schedule

Tuesday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm. Please indicate what days you are available to work when applying.

Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Assist in the diagnosis of oral diseases by reviewing patient medical histories and conducting assessments.
Maintain accurate patient records using dental software.
Collaborate with dentists to create comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
Provide support in orthodontic procedures and pediatric dentistry as required.
Ensure all instruments and equipment are sterilized and maintained according to safety protocols.
Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance patient experience and satisfaction.

Skills

Proficient in dental terminology.
Strong background in dental assisting is a plus.
Excellent customer service skills to foster positive patient relationships.
Familiarity with Cleardent or similar dental practice management software.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $60.00-$70.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:

Dental Hygienist License with BCCOHP (preferred)
