Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team at our brand new state of the art practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while promoting optimal oral health. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Axiom Dental is located right off the Highway on Mountain Hwy. Easy to get on and off the Highway to reach Burnaby and Vancouver.

Parking is provided for our employees.

Hours are Tues: 10-6, Wed 11-7, Thurs 11-7, Fri 9-5, Sat 9-3:30

Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Assist in the diagnosis and treatment of periodontal disease and other oral health issues.
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental software.
Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive care, including orthodontics and pediatric dentistry.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
Provide exceptional customer service to enhance patient experience.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry is advantageous.
Experience in orthodontics or pediatrics is a plus.
Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance communication with diverse patient populations.
Knowledge of dental assisting practices can be beneficial for collaboration within the team.

Pay: $52.00-$62.00 per hour
