Our office in Scarborough is looking for an enthusiastic dental hygienist who has a positive, friendly attitude and a strong work ethic to join our growing dental practice. We are a small, tight-knit office with a strong focus on quality care. Our team is made up of a joyful, supportive group that works together seamlessly to provide exceptional patient experiences.

Our office is located between McCowan and Middlefield Rd on Finch Ave E. The office is TTC accessible (bus stop in front of plaza) and there is also free parking .

DAYS REQUIRED:

SUNDAYS from 9am-5pm and WEDNESDAYS or THURSDAYS 9am-7pm. Option to add more days.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following listed are responsibilities/qualities that the ideal candidate possess but are not limited:

-Perform clinical preventative hygiene services including scaling, root planning, polishing, periodontal probing, fluoride varnish application, etc. for patients of all ages.

-Educate patients on oral hygiene practices tailored to their individual needs.

-Taking Digital Radiographs/ Intra Oral Photos. The ability to use an Itero scanner comfortably is an asset.

-Conduct screenings and assessments to identify potential oral health issues.

-Sterilization of dental instruments

QUALIFICATIONS:
-Registered with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario

-Minimum 1 year clinical work experience

-Exceptional communication skills and a warm, friendly demeanor

-Passionate about promoting oral health and connecting with patients

-Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
