Dental at the Met is a modern, patient-centered dental practice located in the heart of Calgary's Beltline. Hours:

Friday: 7:30am-3:00pm

Saturday: 8:30am-3:00pm (Two per month, not during July/August)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care and a passion for oral health. Laser certification and previous Open Dental experience is highly valued, though not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care, including scaling, root planing, and polishing

- Educate patients on oral health and preventive care

- Maintain accurate patient records and charting

- Collaborate with dentists and other team members to ensure the best patient outcomes

- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment

Requirements:

- Registered Dental Hygienist with a valid license to practice in Alberta

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning

- Laser certification and experience with Open Dental software are considered assets

- Ability to work within the specified hours, with flexibility for additional hours.
