Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their oral health and comfort. As a Dental Hygienist, you will work closely with the dental team to deliver exceptional patient experiences while performing a variety of clinical tasks.

Duties

Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in the electronic health record system.
Assist the dentist during procedures, including orthodontics and pediatric treatments.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient concerns and inquiries with professionalism.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient flow and satisfaction.

Qualifications

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Experience in a dental office setting is preferred; familiarity with Dentrix software is a plus.
Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply for enhanced patient communication.
Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is beneficial.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages, including children in pediatric settings.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating independence in clinical tasks.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
