Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dynamic dental office team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations at the front desk and creating a welcoming environment for our patients.

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly as they arrive at the office and assist them with check-in procedures.
Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations using Dentrix or similar dental software.
Handle incoming phone calls, addressing inquiries and providing information about services offered.
Maintain patient records accurately, ensuring all medical terminology is correctly documented.
Process patient payments and insurance claims efficiently while adhering to office policies.
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining an organized front desk area.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow and communication within the office.
Stay updated on office protocols and procedures to provide accurate information to patients.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar role within a medical office setting is preferred but not necessary. We are willing to train the right candidate.
Proficiency in using front desk management software, particularly Dentrix, is highly desirable.
Outgoing personality
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Familiarity with phone systems and administrative duties typical of an office setting.
A positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding patient care are essential.

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
