About Us:

The Teal Umbrella is a well-established, family-friendly dental practice in Ottawa, known for providing high-quality, comprehensive dental care in a warm and supportive environment. Our passionate and skilled team is dedicated to long-term patient relationships and exceptional service — and now, we're looking for a **Dental Receptionist & Treatment Coordinator** to join our growing team!

What You’ll Do:

Treatment Coordination

* Present and update treatment plans

* Review insurance benefits and explain payment options, including third-party financing

* Assist patients in understanding and accepting their recommended treatment

Clinical Support & Scheduling

* Collaborate with the Operations Manager and Dentists to manage patient flow

* Schedule patients according to provider preferences

* Help accommodate walk-ins and emergencies

Reception & Admin Tasks

* Complete daily audits and support the Financial Coordinator

* Attend morning huddles and contribute to a positive team environment

* Provide exceptional front desk and phone support

Qualifications:

* 3+ years of dental office experience (Required)

* Proficiency in AbelDent, OpenDental, Dentrix, CurveDental, or similar software

* Fluent in English (French is a strong asset)

* Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills

* Team player with critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

* CPR & WHMIS certifications (can be provided)

Work Schedule:

* Monday & Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM

* Tuesday & Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

* Friday: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM

This is an in-office position.
