Schedule

Monday – Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
One Friday per month

Responsibilities

As a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA II), you will:

Prepare and welcome patients for dental procedures.
Review and update patient medical histories and vital signs.
Assist dentists during restorative, preventive, and surgical procedures.
Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays).
Maintain accurate patient records and charting.
Sterilize instruments and maintain operatories according to infection prevention and control protocols.
Prepare treatment rooms and dental instruments.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care.
Coordinate appointments and assist with scheduling.
Support insurance claims, billing, and administrative duties as needed.
Respond appropriately to dental emergencies and provide basic life support when required.
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with privacy standards.
Participate in continuing education and stay current with dental technologies and procedures.

Qualifications

Required

✔ NDAEB Certified Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)

✔ SDAA Level II Licensing

✔ Current CPR Certification

✔ Knowledge of infection prevention and control guidelines

✔ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

✔ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

✔ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dental practice

Preferred

Experience with dental software and practice management systems
Experience with digital radiography and charting
Previous experience in a general dentistry setting
