Our well established dental clinic in the hub of Highstreet Mall Abbotsford is seeking a friendly and hardworking Dental Receptionist to join our team! You will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing front desk operations in a busy dental office. This role requires a blend of administrative skills and knowledge of dental terminology to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive patient experience.

Duties

Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist them with check-in procedures.
Schedule appointments efficiently using dental practice software such Tracker and Carecru.
Manage phone systems to handle incoming calls, answer inquiries, and provide information about services offered.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with confidentiality regulations.
Process patient payments and insurance claims, verifying coverage as necessary.
Coordinate with dental staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care and scheduling.
Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining organized front desk operations.

Skills

Proficiency in office procedures and administrative tasks within a medical or dental setting.
Familiarity with terminology related to dentistry is essential.
Experience with dental office software. Tracker knowledge is an asset.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members.
Ability to operate phone systems efficiently while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate records.
A friendly demeanor that promotes a welcoming environment for patients visiting the dental office.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
