Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. We are looking for a full and part time HYG. $65 an hour plus a paid 30 min lunch break. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene, and assisting the dentist in various procedures. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and an understanding of dental practices.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software.
Provide support in orthodontic treatments and pediatric dentistry as necessary.
Uphold strict infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
Foster a welcoming environment for patients, delivering exceptional customer service at all times.

Requirements

Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice.
Knowledge of orthodontics and pediatric dentistry is an asset.
Previous dental office experience is highly desirable.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry is beneficial.
