Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while promoting good oral health. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Duties

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in Dentrix software.
Assist the dentist during various procedures, including orthodontics and pediatrics.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any patient inquiries or concerns with professionalism.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Requirements

Valid license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry.
Experience in a dental office setting is preferred; familiarity with orthodontics is a plus.
Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as effective communication is key to patient care.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
Previous experience in dental assisting is advantageous but not mandatory.
Knowledge of dental practice management software is preferred.
