Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform dental cleanings, and assist in maintaining a smooth and efficient dental office environment. Responsibilities

Perform dental scaling, root planning, prophylaxis, including cleaning and polishing teeth to remove plaque, tartar, and stains
Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and treatment plans with intra oral itero scans
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix
Provide support with orthodontic procedures when necessary
Manage patient appointments efficiently and ensure a positive patient experience
Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols
Assist with pediatric patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding of procedures
Communicate effectively with patients, addressing questions about treatments and oral health care

Qualifications

Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice
Experience with Cleardent software preferred
Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures is advantageous
Bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse patient populations
Prior experience in a dental office setting is highly desirable
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically
Familiarity with dental terminology
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
