Overview
This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive dental care in a dynamic clinical environment. As an Associate Dentist, you will play a vital part in enhancing patients’ oral health and confidence through exceptional treatment and compassionate patient care. Schedule & Flexibility:
Start with 2–3 days/week (Wednesdays required to fill a schedule gap), with excellent potential to scale to full-time across our SW Calgary locations. Flexible options for weekends and additional days as patient volumes ramp up—perfect for work-life balance while building your practice.

Responsibilities

Perform general dentistry procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, and prosthodontics, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.
Conduct patient assessments, diagnose dental conditions, and develop personalized treatment plans aligned with best practices.
Execute dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other oral surgeries with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques.
Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Maintain comprehensive medical documentation and medical records in compliance with regulations and clinic policies.
Operate dental imaging equipment to obtain accurate diagnostic images while following infection control protocols.
Collaborate with team members using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
Stay current with advancements in dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and other specialties to provide comprehensive care.
Ensure strict adherence to infection control standards and sterilization procedures to maintain a safe clinical environment.

Skills

Proficiency in dental software such as ClearDent, Dentrix for scheduling, charting, and documentation.
Strong knowledge of oral surgery techniques, root canal therapy, dental fabrication, and other general dentistry procedures.
Experience working with pediatric patients and understanding pediatric dentistry best practices.
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs compassionately and thoroughly.
Familiarity with medical terminology, medical imaging, anatomy knowledge, and medical records management.
Ability to implement infection control protocols effectively and maintain aseptic technique during procedures.
Knowledge of all regulations ensuring confidentiality of patient information at all times.
Prior experience in a dental clinic or dental office setting demonstrating professionalism and teamwork.

Pay: $120,072.35-$488,539.05 per year
