Overview
We are seeking an experienced and patient-focused General Dentist to join our dental practice on a part-time basis. This role involves providing comprehensive general dental care while maintaining a high standard of patient service. The schedule includes Mondays and Wednesdays, with the potential to add Sundays. Strong communication skills and a commitment to high-quality, ethical patient care are essential.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and consultations.
Diagnose and treat patients in accordance with general dentistry standards of care and RCDSO guidelines.
Perform a wide range of general dental procedures, including restorative and cosmetic treatments, clear aligner therapy, surgical periodontal procedures, and endodontic treatments, within the scope of general dentistry.
Educate patients on treatment options, procedures, and post-treatment care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using dental practice management software.
Collaborate with dentists, hygienists, and dental assistants to ensure efficient and coordinated patient care.
Stay current with advancements in general dentistry and incorporate evidence-based techniques as appropriate.
DME experience is required, as these procedures are performed in our office.

Qualifications

DDS or DMD degree (Must have at least 2 years of experience).
Registered and in good standing with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO).
Clinical experience in general dentistry.
Proficiency in dental software systems (experience with Curve software is an asset).
Strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and Ontario regulatory standards.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and team members.
Previous experience in a dental practice or clinical setting is required.
Commitment to continuing professional development and lifelong learning in general dentistry.
