We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, promote oral health education, and work collaboratively with our team to ensure a positive patient experience. Job Details:

40-44 hours per week

Mondays 8-4 pm

Tuesday, Wednesday 11-7 pm

Thursday 8-4 pm

Fridays 8-4 pm

2 x Saturdays 9-3 pm.

Dentrix Software experience is an asset

Duties

Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
Take and develop dental radiographs as needed, ensuring patient safety and comfort
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care tailored to their individual needs
Assist with patient examinations and record keeping using dental software such as Dentrix
Support the dental team during procedures, including sterilization of instruments and preparation of treatment rooms
Manage patient appointments efficiently, ensuring smooth clinic flow
Address patient questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy
Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols

Requirements

Experience with Dentrix or similar dental management software preferred
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
Ability to work well within a team environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
