Paradigm Orthodontics is in search of a new orthodontic treatment coordinator (TC)

An orthodontic TC acts as the primary liaison between patients and the orthodontist, managing the patient experience from the initial consultation to the start of treatment. They educate patients on treatment plans, explain financial options, and handle scheduling to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience. The following are responsibilities of the TC:

Patient Education & Consultation: Walking patients through their treatment options (e.g., braces, Invisalign), explaining procedures in simple terms, and taking initial digital 3D scans.
Financial & Insurance Management: Providing fee presentations, creating customized payment plans, and handling insurance verification.
Onboarding & Scheduling: Serving as the first point of contact, building rapport, and scheduling the initial consultation and subsequent treatment appointments.
Follow-Up Care: Connecting with patients after their consultation to answer questions and encourage them to proceed with necessary care

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar position, however we are willing to train the right person for this important position. Key attributes are an outgoing personality, proficiency in organization, and ability to work with the public in a sales and education capacity.

This job could be suitable for a CDA who wants to move into the administrative side of an orthodontic specialty practice, or an experienced dental front-end member who would like to focus on the process of brining new patients into the office, providing them with the best experience possible. That being said, we are willing to train the right person with a relevant non-dental background, but please consider the above job description carefully.

Paradigm Orthodontics has 2 locations, one in West Shore and one in Oak Bay, and we would require someone who can work at both locations, with the majority of the days at our West Shore location. Paradigm is locally owned and operated, and has a cohesive and happy work environment.

The position is from 4 to 5 days per week (depending on the candidates preference), with the hours from 8 AM to approximately 4:30 or 5 PM. We are closed evenings, weekends and holidays.
