Overview
We are a well-established periodontal specialty practice seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our collaborative team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional periodontal care, prioritizing patient comfort, education, and long-term oral health. This role requires a strong clinical foundation, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with the periodontist to support customized treatment planning.

Key Responsibilities

Perform periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, and oral hygiene therapy.
Review medical histories and conduct thorough oral health assessments.
Educate patients on periodontal disease, oral hygiene techniques, and prevention strategies.
Accurately chart and manage patient records.
Collaborate with the periodontist to support comprehensive treatment plans.
Uphold strict infection control and sterilization protocols.
Provide a welcoming and supportive experience for every patient.
Maintain a clean, organized operatory and assist with clinical flow as needed.

Qualifications

Valid Alberta Dental Hygienist license.
Previous experience in a periodontal office is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
