Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dental office environment.

Days/Hours can be discussed and are flexible for the experienced and right candidate.

The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while efficiently managing administrative tasks. This role requires proficiency in dental office software and a strong understanding of dental terminology to ensure smooth front desk operations.

Key Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and manage check-in and check-out procedures
Schedule and confirm appointments via phone and online platforms
Maintain accurate patient records using dental software (e.g., ABELDENT)
Handle incoming calls and direct them appropriately
Process payments and assist with billing inquiries
Assist with insurance verification and claims processing as needed
Keep the front desk area clean, organized, and welcoming
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow and clinical support

Requirements

Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar administrative role in a medical or dental office is preferred
Proficiency in dental software, particularly ABELDENT, is highly desirable
Strong understanding of dental terminology
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach
Ability to multitask and remain detail-oriented in a busy environment
Familiarity with scheduling systems and general office procedures
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-oriented mindset
