Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience in our dental office. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of medical terminology and office procedures.

This role is for a Lead receptionist. Please only apply if you have a minimum 2 years of experience in dentistry.

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk operations.
Schedule appointments and confirm patient visits using electronic medical records.
Handle incoming phone calls, addressing inquiries and providing information about services.
Maintain accurate patient records and manage insurance verification processes.
Assist with billing and payment processing while ensuring confidentiality of patient information.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient office operations.
Keep the reception area organized and stocked with necessary supplies.

Skills

Proficiency in office management and front desk operations.
Poses Leadership to lead the reception team.
Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dental practices.
Experience with Dentrix or similar dental software is preferred.
Knowledge of electronic medical records systems such as Epic is a plus.
Strong administrative skills, including data entry and record keeping.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
Ability to operate phone systems efficiently.
