North Toronto Dental Centre is a proudly independent, family-owned dental practice — not a corporation. Founded by Dr. Andrew Penuvchev, who was born, raised, and still lives in the neighbourhood he serves, the practice has deep roots in the community and has been serving multiple generations of North Toronto families since 2001.

We recently relocated to a larger, newly renovated, state-of-the-art facility designed with patient comfort and modern dental care in mind — featuring a sleek reception area and fully equipped treatment rooms with the latest dental technology. This is a warm, close-knit team that takes pride in delivering personalized, compassionate care.

This position is flexible — we welcome applications from candidates seeking full-time or part-time hours.

Getting Here

We are located on Avenue Road, south of Highway 401. Street parking is available on surrounding streets, and a Green P parking lot is situated directly behind our building — convenient for both staff and patients.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and check in patients with a warm, professional manner

Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, and manage appointment scheduling

Proactively schedule and confirm appointments to ensure a full and efficient schedule at all times

Process billing, insurance claims, and patient payments accurately and in a timely manner

Maintain accurate patient records using Tracker dental software

Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow

Handle correspondence and general administrative tasks

Ensure the reception area is tidy and welcoming at all times

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 5 years of dental front desk experience required

Proficiency in Tracker dental software required

Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken) required

Dental insurance billing experience required

Proven ability to maintain a full schedule through proactive booking and follow-up required

Availability to work alternating Saturdays required

Experience as a Dental Assistant or Treatment Coordinator is a strong asset

Strong multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills

Positive, team-oriented attitude
