Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator who brings strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for patient care. This role plays a vital part in guiding patients through treatment, supporting case acceptance, and contributing to the overall success and growth of the practice. The ideal candidate will serve as a vital link between patients and the ortho team, ensuring smooth communication, appointment scheduling, and treatment plan presentation. This is a full-time, 18-month maternity leave position, with the possibility of extension based on practice needs and performance.

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and assist them through the treatment planning process
Coordinate appointment scheduling and follow-up care to optimize patient flow
Manage patient records with accuracy and confidentiality
Verify insurance information and assist with financial arrangements
Present treatment costs, collect payments, process insurance claims, and assist with payment plans.
Collaborate with the ortho team to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental procedures, services, and practice policies
Support administrative tasks such as documentation, data entry, and phone communication
Uphold privacy, ethical, and regulatory standards in all patient interactions

Qualifications

Prior experience in a dental or medical office setting is an asset but not necessary
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients
Office experience demonstrating organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Professional appearance and demeanor with a focus on exceptional customer service

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 18 months

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
