Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care including scaling, root planing, polishing, and periodontal maintenance.

Conduct oral health assessments, including charting, periodontal evaluations, and documenting patient findings.

Take and interpret intraoral and extraoral radiographs as required.

Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment recommendations.

Apply fluoride, sealants, desensitizing agents, and other preventive therapies.

Collaborate with the dentist to develop individualized care plans.

Maintain accurate, thorough clinical notes and patient records.

Ensure strict adherence to infection control and sterilization protocols.

Contribute to a positive, supportive, and team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications

Valid Registered Dental Hygienist license in the province of Ontario.

CPR certification.

Strong communication and patient-education skills.

Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working independently.

Experience with dental software AkituOne is an asset.
