Join our dynamic orthodontic team as a Dental Assistant Level 2 specializing in orthodontics! Hours

Monday to Thursday, no evening, no weekend

Duties

Assist orthodontist during procedures such as bracket placement, wire adjustments, and appliance fittings with precision and confidence.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and ensuring all equipment is functioning optimally.
Take dental X-rays and use 3D scanners, ensuring accuracy and patient comfort.
Educate patients on orthodontic care, including proper hygiene practices and appliance maintenance, fostering a positive experience.
Assist with infection control protocols to uphold the highest standards of aseptic technique within the clinic.
Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments with a dental receptionist mindset and managing medical documentation for accurate recordkeeping.
Collaborate closely with the referring dentist or specialists teams on procedures and specialized areas like prosthodontics, periodontics or endodontics when needed.

Experience

Prior experience working in an orthodontic clinic environment is an asset but not essential. New grads are welcome!
Certification in "orthodontics" dental assisting is also an asset but training is also available for the right candidate!

Pay: $33.00-$40.00 per hour
