We are looking for a patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our independently owned dental practice located in the heart of downtown Oakville.
Our practice has been serving the community for over 10 years and operates out of a charming, well-established building with a loyal patient base. We pride ourselves on providing a warm, high-quality patient experience and fostering a supportive, respectful team environment.
We are hiring for a part-time position with the following hours:
- Tuesday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Thursday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide preventive dental care including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments
- Perform oral health assessments, periodontal charting, and dental X-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
- Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation
- Follow strict infection control and safety protocols
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care
Qualifications
- Registered Dental Hygienist licence from the CDHO.
- Familiarity with ABELDent would be an asset.
- Clinical experience and competence in hygiene procedures.
- Strong communication skills and professionalism.
