Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Certified Dental Hygienist to join our team on a part-time, permanent basis. Our clinic is centrally located in Calgary, near the Foothills Hospital, and we are committed to providing exceptional dental care in a friendly and professional environment. Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride applications.
- Conduct patient assessments, take digital X-rays using Dexis, and document findings in Dentrix.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive dental care.
- Collaborate with dentists and other team members to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to sterilization and infection control protocols.
- Ensure an efficient workflow while providing a positive patient experience.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must hold a valid Dental Hygiene License in Alberta.
- Proficiency in Dentrix and Dexis is required.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently.
- Friendly, professional, and bubbly personality to create a welcoming environment for patients.
- Strong communication skills to educate patients and collaborate with the dental team.
Schedule:
We are seeking a hygienist available for 3-4 days per week, including:
- Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Wednesday: 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $50.00-$59.34 per hour
