Job Summary
We are also looking for permanent Saturday hygienist 1-2 Saturdays a month (or more!). NO long weekends! Reduced hours during the summer months. We can often be flexible with dates. Salary is negotiable based on experience.
The ideal Hygienist for our team will be highly motivated to educate patients on preventative dental care and oral hygiene, as well as empower them in their commitment to good oral health by developing treatment plans and home care routines tailored towards the patients’ needs. The ideal candidate will provide quality dental care and oral hygiene guidance to patients, contributing to their overall oral health.
Duties
- Conduct dental cleanings and assist dentists during procedures
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Perform oral cancer screenings and take dental x-rays
- Maintain patient records accurately
- Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure excellent patient care
Skills
- Experience with Tracker or similar dental software
- Knowledge of dental office procedures and protocols
- Strong customer service skills to interact effectively with patients

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Currently registered with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario OR in progress of being registered
- Experience as an RDH is an asset, however, new grads welcome
- Valid CPR Certification
- Experience with Tracker dental practice management software is considered an asset
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families
