Our dental hygienist of almost 4 years is needing to step away from her position, after some very exciting life changing events. We are a patient focused practice who is looking for another team player who is reliable and an excellent communicator.
Daytime hours!
No evenings or weekends!
- Tuesday to Thursday from 6:45 am to 3 :15 pm
- Friday from 6:45 am to 12:15 pm
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
- Take dental x-rays and intraoral pictures
- Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate treatment recommendations
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with dentists and other dental professionals to provide comprehensive dental care
Experience:
- Must have a valid dental hygiene license
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a dental hygienist preferred
- Proficient in using dental software for charting and recordkeeping
- Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and best practices
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment
