Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our dental office. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and experience with electronic medical records systems. The Dental Receptionist will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth patient experience from scheduling appointments to handling inquiries.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly as they arrive at the dental office and assist them with check-in procedures.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using office management software.
- Manage phone systems efficiently, answering calls promptly and addressing patient inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain accurate patient records in electronic medical records systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
- Process patient information, including insurance verification and billing inquiries.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care and scheduling needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area to create a welcoming environment for patients.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including filing, data entry, and inventory management.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar front desk role within a medical or dental office is preferred.
- Familiarity with dental software such as Open Dental or Epic is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is essential.
- Proficiency in managing electronic medical records and utilizing phone systems effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $24.00-$34.00 per hour
