Summary

We are seeking a Dental Administrator to join our team at Strathmore Dental Centre. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, playing a crucial role in managing appointments, patient records, and providing excellent customer service. Your contributions will help us maintain a smooth operation and enhance patient satisfaction. Our ideal candidate is very much a team-focused individual that is self-motivated with excellent communication skills. Previous experience working in a dental clinic is not required but is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and manage front desk operations efficiently.
Handle patient check-ins and check-outs with a warm, professional demeanor.
Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar.
Maintain accurate electronic dental records using Dentrix software.
Handle patient inquiries and provide information about services offered.
Assist in processing patient payments, insurance claims and pre-authorizations.
Ensure the reception area is organized and welcoming for patients.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements

Familiarity with electronic dental records systems, particularly Dentrix, would be beneficial.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
A team player with a commitment to excellent patient care.
