We’re looking for a Senior Dental Administrator who is efficient, empathetic, highly organized with great attention to detail to help us provide the best patient experience possible.
Wage: Negotiable, based on experience
Start Date: As soon as we find the right candidate!
Key Responsibilities:
- Front Desk Operations: Greet patients and create a welcoming environment from the moment they arrive.
- Appointment Scheduling: Efficiently manage appointment scheduling using Dentrix and Max Assist (RecallMax), ensuring that patients are seen in a timely manner.
- Patient Communication: Handle multi-line phone systems, assist with patient inquiries, appointment confirmations, and general office-related questions.
- Collaboration with Dental Team: Work closely with the dental staff to maintain effective communication and a smooth office operation.
- Payment and Insurance: Process patient payments, submit insurance claims, and handle any billing inquiries in a professional manner.
- Office Support: Ensure office organization by maintaining accurate patient records and keeping the office environment neat and efficient.
- Flexible Schedule: Required to work 1 -2 evenings per week until 8pm and 1-2 Saturdays per month.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of dental experience required, with previous experience in dental administration and clinical support as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Dentrix and Max Assist (RecallMax) software is a strong asset.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and dental staff.
- Organization: Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Professionalism: Must demonstrate a professional demeanor, be empathetic, and maintain a positive attitude, even under pressure.
- Flexibility: Ability to work 1-2 evenings until 8pm a week and 1-2 Saturdays per month 9am to 4pm.
