Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and have a thorough understanding of dental practices and procedures. This role involves working closely with dentists and patients to provide high-quality dental hygiene services, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for all.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments.
- Conduct patient evaluations, including taking vital signs and reviewing medical histories.
- Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Collaborate with the dental team to develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
Experience
Candidates should have experience or familiarity with the following:
- Proficiency in Dentrix software for managing patient records and appointments.
- Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles and practices, including effective communication with children.
- Experience in general dentistry settings, with an understanding of dental terminology and anatomy knowledge.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $50.00-$60.00 per hour
