Position Details:
- Schedule: Mondays & Tuesdays, 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Status: Part-Time Casual (with the potential for additional shifts in the future)
- Start Date: Immediate
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality dental hygiene care, including scaling, root planing, polishing, and fluoride treatment
- Educate patients on oral health, preventive care, and home hygiene practices.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Follow strict infection control and sterilization protocols.
- Collaborate with dentists and the dental team to ensure the best patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Current RDH license in good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of Alberta.
- Current CPR certification.
- 1+ years of experience preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with dental software and basic computer skills (Open Dental experience is an asset).
- Professional, reliable, and team-oriented attitude.
- Diode laser certification is considered an asset
