Job Opportunity: Associate Dentist
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic and expanding dental practice located in Millwoods, Edmonton, AB. Key Responsibilities
- Provide ethical and comprehensive dental examinations and diagnostics.
- Develop and execute personalized treatment plans for patients.
- Perform a wide range of general dental procedures, including restorative, surgical, and endodontic treatments.
- Maintain accurate and organized patient records with Dentrix (or comparable) dental software.
- Promote preventive care through patient education on oral hygiene practices.
- Collaborate effectively with hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative staff to ensure seamless clinical operations.
What We're Looking For
- A DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental program.
- A valid license to practice dentistry in the Province of Alberta, in good standing with the relevant regulatory body.
- Previous experience working in a clinical setting (new grads welcome to apply; mentorship available).
- Proficiency with or willingness to learn Dentrix software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to continuing education and staying current with advancements in dentistry.
Hours of Work
This position is currently available for Mondays from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Fridays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, providing a balanced schedule and the opportunity for focused patient care during key times of the week.
Compensation: This is a commission-based opportunity
