Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality dental care to patients of all ages. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and proficiency in dental software, including Dentrix and Cerec systems. The Associate Dentist will work collaboratively with our team to ensure excellent patient experiences and outcomes. Currently looking for coverage on Thursdays 12-8, Tuesdays & Fridays 8-5 and Saturdays 9-4.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Provide preventive, restorative, and emergency dental care.
- Educate patients on oral health and hygiene practices.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix and other relevant software.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control procedures.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Experience or interest in pediatrics is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is essential.
- Proficiency in Dentrix, or similar dental office software is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
