We are currently seeking a certified and experienced Dental Sterilization Technician to join our growing team!
Position Summary:
The Sterilization Technician is a key member of our clinical support team, responsible for ensuring all instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, and prepared to support efficient and safe patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to guidelines
- Maintain proper operation of sterilization equipment and report any issues
- Organize and restock operatories and sterilization areas
- Monitor inventory of sterilization supplies and materials
- Follow all infection control protocols and maintain accurate sterilization logs
- Collaborate with dental assistants and clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
Requirements:
- Certified Sterilization Technician or equivalent certification
- CRCST Certification is an asset
- Previous experience in a dental or medical sterilization role (minimum 1 year preferred)
- Strong understanding of infection control and sterilization procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to take feedback
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
